Point of Difference e.V. Introduces Generation Hope, a Christian Event Created for the Next Generation

Point of Difference e.V. is proud to introduce Generation Hope, a Christian event created especially for teenagers aged 13 to 18.

Generation Hope is built around a simple idea: young people deserve a place where they can come together, be themselves, make new connections, explore faith, ask questions and look toward their future with hope.

Combining Christian faith, community, music, creativity, activities, conversations and shared experiences, Generation Hope will put young people at the centre of the event.

It is not simply intended to be an event young people attend.

It is an event created for their generation.

Faith. Community. Hope.

Growing up means discovering who you are, considering what you believe and deciding what kind of person you want to become.

Generation Hope wants to provide teenagers with an environment where those questions are welcome.

Christian faith will be at the heart of the event, with values including love, compassion, forgiveness, dignity, hope and serving others helping to shape the Generation Hope experience.

At the same time, Generation Hope is intended to be welcoming to young people from different backgrounds and life experiences.

Young people should feel able to arrive as themselves.

They should be able to meet others, experience community, discover new perspectives and recognise that their voice matters.

More Than an Event

Generation Hope is about more than a programme.

It is about creating memories, friendships and conversations that can continue long after the event itself.

The programme is envisioned to bring together different aspects of the teenage experience through areas such as:

Generation Hope has been created around the belief that young people should not simply be told that they are the future.

Generation Hope celebrates that individuality while creating opportunities to discover what people can share.

The event will encourage an atmosphere based on respect, kindness and dignity.

There does not have to be only one kind of teenager to belong at Generation Hope.

Giving Young People a Voice

Generation Hope is also intended to listen.

Young people have their own perspectives on faith, community, friendship, society and the future. Creating meaningful opportunities for those perspectives to be heard is an important part of the Generation Hope vision.

Instead of simply speaking to the next generation, Point of Difference e.V. wants Generation Hope to help create conversations with them.
