Code of Conduct for Events, Programs, and Volunteer Activities
1. Purpose
Generation Hope is committed to compassion, respect, integrity, inclusion, and hope. This Code of Conduct is intended to ensure that all Generation Hope events, programs, projects, missions, and activities take place in a safe, respectful, and professional environment.
This Code applies to all participants, employees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, exhibitors, contractors, guests, and other individuals involved in Generation Hope activities.
2. Our Values
All participants are expected to respect and uphold the following core values:

- Respect and courtesy
- Honesty and integrity
- Diversity and inclusion
- Responsibility and transparency
- Safety and well-being of all individuals
- Protection of vulnerable persons
3. Expected Behavior
All participants are expected to:
- Treat others with respect, dignity, and kindness.
- Promote an inclusive and non-discriminatory environment.
- Act professionally and responsibly.
- Follow the instructions of event organizers, staff members, and security personnel.
- Respect the privacy and rights of others.
- Communicate in a constructive and respectful manner.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Contribute to the safety and positive atmosphere of the event.
4. Unacceptable Behavior
The following behavior will not be tolerated by Generation Hope:
Harassment and Discrimination
- Discrimination based on ethnicity, nationality, disability, age, gender, marital status, or other personal characteristics.
- Intimidation or bullying.
- Verbal attacks or abusive language.
- Unwanted aggressive behavior.
Dangerous Conduct
- Physical violence or threats of violence.
- Property damage.
- Theft.
- Endangering the safety of others.
- Possession or use of illegal substances.
Unprofessional Conduct
- Deliberately disruptive behavior.
- Failure to follow safety instructions.
- False statements or fraudulent activities.
- Misuse of organizational positions, assets, or resources.
5. Protection of Children and Vulnerable Persons
Generation Hope maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or inappropriate behavior involving children or particularly vulnerable individuals.
All participants are required to:
- Immediately report any suspicious incidents.
- Protect the safety, well-being, and dignity of children at all times.
- Comply with all applicable Generation Hope child protection policies.
6. Media and Privacy
Participants must:
- Respect the privacy of others.
- Not photograph or record individuals in sensitive situations without their consent.
- Not disclose confidential information without authorization.
- Comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws.
7. Reporting Violations
Anyone who observes or experiences a violation of this Code of Conduct should promptly report it to a representative of Generation Hope.
Reports will be:
- Taken seriously,
- Handled confidentially whenever possible,
- Reviewed fairly and impartially.
8. Consequences of Violations
Generation Hope reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this Code of Conduct, including:
- Verbal or written warnings;
- Removal from events or programs;
- Revocation of volunteer or partnership privileges;
- Termination of collaborations or affiliations;
- Reporting to appropriate authorities where legally required.
Depending on the severity of the violation, action may be taken without prior warning.
9. Acknowledgment
By participating in any Generation Hope event, project, program, or activity, all participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Code of Conduct.
