§ 1 Scope of Application
- These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services, offers, events, projects, fundraising campaigns, and other activities of Generation Hope.
- Any deviating terms and conditions of contractual partners or users shall only be recognized if Generation Hope expressly agrees to their validity in writing.
§ 2 Purpose of the Organization
- Generation Hope is committed to humanitarian, social, charitable, and non-profit purposes.
- The services and projects offered are intended to support people in need and promote social and community initiatives.
§ 3 Conclusion of Contracts
- All offers made by Generation Hope are non-binding and subject to change without notice.
- A contract is concluded through written confirmation, registration, booking, or the actual use of a service.
- Generation Hope reserves the right to reject inquiries or registrations without stating reasons.
§ 4 Donations
- Donations to Generation Hope are made voluntarily.
- Donations do not create any entitlement to a consideration or benefit in return.
- Where Generation Hope is recognized as a charitable organization, donation receipts will be issued in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
- Donations already made are generally non-refundable unless a statutory right to reimbursement exists.
§ 5 Events and Projects
- Participation in events is at the participant’s own risk.
- Participants must follow the instructions of the event management and organizers.
- Generation Hope reserves the right to modify event programs or cancel events for organizational, safety-related, or other important reasons.
- Participation fees already paid will be refunded if an event is canceled by Generation Hope, unless otherwise agreed.
§ 6 Liability
- Generation Hope shall be fully liable for intentional misconduct and gross negligence.
- In cases of slight negligence, Generation Hope shall only be liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations and only for foreseeable damages typical of the contract.
- These limitations of liability shall not apply in cases involving injury to life, body, or health, or where liability is mandatory under applicable law.
§ 7 Use of the Website
- The contents of the website are provided solely for informational purposes.
- Users may not misuse the website or circumvent any technical security measures.
- Generation Hope does not guarantee the continuous availability of the website.
§ 8 Intellectual Property Rights
- All content, texts, images, logos, and other materials on Generation Hope’s platforms are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- Reproduction, distribution, or any other use is prohibited without prior written consent from Generation Hope.
§ 9 Data Protection
- Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Generation Hope and all applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

§ 10 Severability Clause
Should any provision of these GTC be or become wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that most closely reflects the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
§ 11 Applicable Law
These GTC shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), to the extent legally permissible.
§ 12 Place of Jurisdiction
To the extent permitted by law, the registered office of Generation Hope shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these GTC.
